• I am a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Computer and Communication Sciences at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
  My host professors are Christina Fragouli and Patrick Thiran.
  
• I received my Ph.D./MS in Computer Science from the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Harvard University in November 2005.

• My research interests lie in information and coding theory; in particular, developing Shannon-style theorems for channels with random synchronization errors with ultimate goal the design of asymptotically optimal codes for these channels. I am also interested in the design and analysis of stochastic processes that serve as generative models for real-world networks such as the Web, economic markets, etc. (publications).
