My research interests lie in information and coding theory; in particular, developing
Shannon-style theorems for channels
with random synchronization errors
with ultimate goal the design of asymptotically optimal codes for these channels. I am
also interested in the design and analysis of stochastic processes that serve as generative models
for real-world networks
such as the Web, economic markets, etc.

I served as a teaching fellow/co-teacher for the courses appearing
here.
